Matching Wardrobes

The Lookout is a boutique beachside holiday property in Porth on Cornwall’s North Coast. We designed and made a set of three matching slatted oak wardrobes for the property’s bedrooms, creating unity and visual cohesion across the accommodation.

All three wardrobes feature floor-to-ceiling sliding doors with solid oak slats inlaid into the doors, and complimented with black powder coated plate steel handles that terminate the vertical divisions that run across the doors and offer visual and textural contrast.

Inside, each wardrobe has a full compliment of storage options including full and half height hanging on blacked steel rails, cubbyhole shelving and a set of three oak-faced drawers. Cabinetry is an oak-lipped dust-grey laminate that offers long-term durability and a subtle backdrop against the oak. Drawer pulls are Dowsing & Reynolds ‘Black Rococo concave disc’ knobs to compliment the steel hanging rails and plate steel door handles.
