At Coast Creative we offer a bespoke service on all of our built-in furniture. With endless customisable options, access to the extensive industry knowledge of our designers and builders, and the option to be entirely involved in the design process, Coast Creative can be relied upon to build a wardrobe that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Bespoke & Built in Wardrobes

Bespoke and built-in wardrobes are storage spaces most commonly found in bedrooms, which are made-to-measure for the space. Optimising every inch of available space, built-in wardrobes can be designed to fit any home. This not only provides optimal storage, but means the wardrobe slots seamlessly into the room, with no need for bulky furniture.

We offer a range of options including hidden shelving, cubby holes, powder-coated metalwork finishes, sliding doors, invisible fixings, custom rails and fitted mirrors, plus many more extras.

Custom Finishes

Coast Creative is not only a team of skilled carpenters, but also experienced metalworkers. Specialising in ironmongery, we can apply this skill to fitted wardrobes by fabricating custom hanging rails, handles and catches. We can also powder coat any metalwork to achieve the client’s desired colour scheme.

12-Month Warranty

At Coast Creative we focus on quality over quantity. Everything we build is designed to last the test of time. We offer a 12-month warranty on all our fitted wardrobes, so you can relax with total peace of mind that your bespoke furniture will continue to function fully.

From Conception to Build

Coast Creative’s bespoke service sees every project through from beginning to end. From the initial design consultation to the build and final finishing touches, we take your opinions into consideration every step of the way and always deliver a seamless finished product.

Ethically Sourced Materials

We are always looking to work with innovative and eco-friendly materials wherever possible. For example, we often work with Fenix, a carbon-neutral laminated plywood made from 60% paper and 40% thermosetting resins. Another innovative material we utilise is Richlite, made from approximately 65% FSC®-certified or recycled paper content and 35% phenolic resin. This material also carries Rainforest Alliance, FSC and Greenguard certification (ensuring that a product has met some of the world’s most rigorous and comprehensive standards for low emissions of VOCs).

Bespoke Fitted Wardrobes FAQs

How long will it take for my wardrobe to be built?

From our first design meeting through to installation of your kitchen usually takes between 12-14 weeks, although every project is different and timings are determined by many factors. If your new kitchen is part of a bigger build or remodelling project, we will work with you or your project manager and other contractors to plan a timeline and agree the optimal installation dates for your kitchen.

How much does it cost to put in a built in wardrobe?

Due to the variable nature of bespoke wardrobes, cost will differ based on specifications, materials, size etc. However, our custom wardrobe design and build service starts at £2500 and goes up to £10,000 and beyond for the largest and most complex installations.

When you first enquire about your bespoke wardrobe we will issue you with a upper and lower guide-price. When this has been accepted, Luke will begin your design work. Once the design is finalised you will receive a quote for the project, which includes an ‘upper estimate’ for fitting (as we often meet unforeseen challenges during the installation, especially in older properties). Our aim is to be transparent about the expected cost from the very beginning.

Do fitted wardrobes increase house value?

Fitted wardrobes are not only a stylish and practical addition to your living space but can also increase the overall value of our house due to the sought-after nature and one-of-a-kind construction.

Do you remove skirting for fitted wardrobes?

Sometimes we have to remove sections of existing skirting board to install your fitted wardrobe, however we will always leave you with a faultless final product that fits seamlessly within your space.

Can you provide samples of materials or finishes?

The materials and finishes suggested by Luke for your consideration can be sampled as part of the design process. Because we do not produce “off the peg” ranges with set or limited choices of materials and colours, the options available to us for your project are huge. Therefore we can provide samples during the design process once choices have been narrowed down.

What payment plans or financing options are available?

We offer a standard staged payment process for Coast Creative builds. Following the initial design call with Luke we will calculate a guide price for your consideration. As the project proceeds and the scope and materials are refined we will quote the project. Once the design and quote has been accepted we require a 50% deposit. The next 30% is due on delivery and the final 20% plus installation following completion.

Are there additional costs for design consultations or installations?

There are no hidden costs for extra design consultations, and the quote that you receive for your design (which is proceeded by an upper and lower guide-price following your initial design consultation) includes an ‘upper estimate’ for the cost of installation that accounts for the sorts of installation challenges we may meet once on site (particularly for older or period properties).

Is there a warranty on the Wardrobe components and installation?

Yes, we provide a 12-month warranty on all wardrobe components and installation. This warranty covers any issues related to workmanship or materials, giving you peace of mind with your purchase.
